Most of us are often habituated to rush at the last moment. It's not because you lack talent or motivation, but because you let the unimportant factors rule over you and delay the work by making excuses.
If you make excuses, you are only increasing your burden and ruining the impression of that task on yourself. You start wondering why were you even doing that work in the first place when you can sit back and relax. Doing nothing leads you nowhere.
Be passionate and enthusiastic about whatever you do. Giving your best at the right time is the route towards excellence rather than delaying the work and trying to make it perfect. Plan early, do the best you can before the end of the given time. If you achieve success then you get credit and appreciation. If you're unsuccessful despite giving your best, then you learn a lesson. Either way it helps you grow.
Mistakes might embrass you once, but after you learn from it, they add spice to your success. Let me remind you Baba Ranchhordh Das Shyamal Das Chanchardh's saying "Excellence ke peeche bhagoge , success jhak marke tumhare peeche ayegi" 😜
