Psychological Life Hacks

Some psychological life hacks. 1)       Avoid aggressive confrontation with someone? Did you ever notice, the person sitting next to the boss in a conference room is less likely to be blamed for the unfortunate events  ,even if he is responsible for it?  It is because when you take a seat next to your aggressor, the close proximity will make him uncomfortable. He does not feel right to shower anger on someone sitting so close. 2)       Who likes/trusts you in the group? Whenever someone cracks a joke in a group, observe who looks at whom. Unconsciously, one tends to take a quick glance of that particular person they like/trust the most in the group.  Be careful, you might find your secret admirer too! 3)       The song that doesn’t leave your mind. Human brain often tends to recall something that is left unfinished. So, the song that keeps replaying in your brain is because your brain didn’t hear the song's end. A good solution for this is to listen to

Corruption Perception Index: What's India's Rank?

Corruption in India increases with each passing day with little or no efforts to end it. Recently, the Transparency International (TI) released the Corruption Perception Index (CPI.) The CPI ranks all the 180 countries based on their level of public sector corruption with data from experts and business people. The TI is an independent, non Governmental organization leading the fight against corruption. The TI, now present in more than 100 countries is headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The ranking is done on the basis of scores from 0 to 100 where 0 denotes the highest level of corruption and 100 denotes clean. In the CPI for 2017, India along with Ghana, Morocco and Turkey ranked 81 with a corruption score of 40 out of 100. A CPI report released by TI read, “While corruption continues to be a rampant problem across the region, improvements will only be made if there is strong political will for change and if a comprehensive strategy is adopted, not one based on isolated actions.” N

Humanity Slaved by Religion?

*Topic suggested by a reader* Living in a world where destruction tops the rest.  Hurting and taking the lives of people in the name of religion. If you believe that people coming from a certain religion should be cleansed from this world, then my dear, I should remind you that do not belong to your religion. No religion ever teaches savagery. You are allowed to judge a person based on their religion but you can never judge a religion based on a person’s actions. It is an unpleasant behaviour of human being that rips off the humanity, irrespective of where they belong. Then why discriminate others based on their religion? Modernism is to be blamed for extinction of culture. While the great saints today, twist the religious morals according to the culture in order to feed their necessities. Their necessities, range from taking a revenge from a guy walking on the street to big political issues on the television. Unfortunately, humanity is slipping away because of such stuff

When Modi Met The Game Of Thrones

Electronic Gadgets: Making Student's Life Easier

Life as a student is not easy, we bring you four devices that can be used to make your life easier. Here are these four devices: 1. reMarkable Paper is the ultimate tool for thinking; it lets your mind run and focus your thought at the same time. Unworkable Relationship

"Stop breaking your own heart by trying to make a relationship work that clearly isn't meant to work. You can't force someone to care about you. You can't force someone to be loyal. You can't force them the person you need them to be. Sometimes, the person you want the most is the person you are best without. You have to understand that some things are meant to happen, but not meant to be. Some things are meant to come in your life, but not meant to stay. Don't lose yourself by trying to fix something that is meant to remain broken.  You can't expect a relationship with someone, who is not ready to give it to you. Now, maybe you won't not understand why, but I promise you, your future will always bring understanding of why things  didn't work out, TRUST ME. Don't put your happiness on hold for someone who isn't holding on to you." _Inked

...Being Better

If you think you're done with life, you definitely have to read this. You don't need to pretend that you were never broken in the first place. They'll all tell you that it gets better, but they fail to mention that being better isn't better right away. Happy isn't quite what you were expecting because the heavy, was a part of you. Take it away, and you will feel empty. Honey, that's okay. You're allowed to miss the way your heart ached. You're allowed to miss the hard days. Maybe you've taped all your pieces together now. Take one piece back off if you need to. You don't need to pretend that you were never broken in the first place. _Inked
