When Bengaluru Decided To Drink
In a bid to escape, a drunk man in Bengaluru bit a Head Police Constable’s finger. Roshan Raja, a 33-year-old resident of Malleswaram and Girish, a 31-year-old resident of Kempapura caught the eye of the patrolling policemen. The duo were heavily drunk. Roshan is employed at a private firm on the Old Airport Road and Girish is a contract labourer. Roshan and Girish got into an argument with a group of people near DJ bar and restaurant in Bengaluru. The Sub Inspector Shivaraj and Head Constable Shanthalingu intervened in the fight. The Police officers asked Roshan and Girish to stop the fight and leave. But the duo along with the others began arguing with the policemen and asked them to leave instead. The verbal argument turned physical as Roshan and Girish started threatening the officers.
