Repercussion

***

Recklessly deafening, the silence turned into
Heinous enclosure, the soul stepped in
Frightening yet benign, demons came to rescue
The brutally bruised heart, incarcerated for life

Holding on to the fragments, sharp and brittle
Mercilessly slaughtering, the pristine bonds
The barbarous massacre, least of the nuisance
Excavating the buried, the world meets its end

Broken and bleeding, scattered are the parts
Survived the battles, yet lost the  heart
Lifelessly breathing in, the gratuitous air
The warm corpse, from the mirror it did stare
