Time froze, as you passed by my side
Heartbeat skipped, as your eyes met mine
Escaping smiles, despite the chained up lips
Caged up feels, now fleeing through the slits

Untold words, yearning for a way out
Silenced gloom, shouting out loud
Losing jewels, in search of a rock
Reckless lashes, in turn for a flaw

Abstract rendezvous, a blissful dream
Constraint phrases, a punishing craft
Bidding farewells, unaware of screams
Despite being, the heart's inseparable piece

INDEPENDENCE DAY??? Celebrating independence day, but you really think India is independent? As far as I know, I don't feel we are independent yet.  Why? Politicians, rapists, murders, caste system, hatred among people, aren't these reasons enough to make you feel helpless?  Do you still dare to convince yourself that you are independent?
