Karni Sena Queues For Padmaavat Tickets
On Friday, the Shri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS) announced their decision to take back the protest against the movie Padmaavat. They stated that Padmaavat glorifies the valour of the Rajputs. SRKS Mumbai's Leader Yogendra Singh Katar said on the directions of the organisation’s National President Sukhdev Singh Gogamadi on Friday, a few members watched the movie in Mumbai. Katar further added they found out the movie glorifies the valour and sacrifice of Rajputs. Every Rajput will feel proud after watching the film.
Since long the SRKS had been demanding a ban on Padmaavat stating it distorts historical facts and projects Queen Padmini in poor light. It is still unbelievable that from burning down vehicles and staging protests to a Rs. 5 crore bounty for beheading the Actress and the Director, they finally ended up queuing for tickets. Padmaavat's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali should actually thank the Karni Sena for free promotions. Karni Sena's selfless efforts for promotions include burning down everything they come across, the women threatening to bath in fire, attacking the innocents and much more. Will the Karni Sena get their share for the promotions from the movie's box office collection?
The question still prolongs of what action the Indian Government will take against the SRKS members for their actions against the film.
