Wadaa/Promise (Poem)

Wadaa

Sau dafa tujhse rubaro hokar, sau dafa khud se anjan hua hun
Beparwa mizaaj hone ke bawajood, hamesha tujhe khone se darta hun
Mukammal lafzon mein apni adhori kahani ka aksar zikr karta rehta hun
Har baar tere bare mein na likhne ka wadaa karke, waraq palat kar phir tere hi bare mein likhne lagta hun

Translation :


Promise 

A hundred times, I've become a stranger to myself, after I met you
Despite having a careless attitude, I always worried about losing you
I often mention bits of our incomplete story in complete phrases
Every single time, I promise myself not to write about you
Then I turn the page
And start writing, about you, again.

An issue that is very well known but is ignored the best "Stand up against the wrong happening around you" his words keep nagging behind my mind.
